Rootbridge Academy driven with the primary purpose of being a living bridge between socially conscious individuals and socially oriented organisations.

Our approach to bringing the two worlds together was designed around delivering Lifetime Value (LTV) for both, the non-profits we work with and the donors who give for impact through an outcome-oriented approach.

The services offered to the non-profit sector ensured quality fundraising solutions creating value, autonomy, and freedom for them to be true to their mission.

Addressing the key Barriers

 

At Rootbridge we work with small Non profits who create a powerful social impact in society . We help make their work visible; get citizens to get interested in the impact they are creating and eventually get a large number of citizens to contribute a small sum of money every month to the NPO.

Most NPOs find this challenging because they are unable to find the seed fund required to build and sustain a retail fundraising operation; because they lack the technical operational capacity to pursue retail fundraising and because it is very hard to build and sustain a team of trained fundraisers.

What Rootbridge does for each client is as follows-

Focus on a smaller number of deeply engaged Indian donors. 1000 committed “fans” for a cause giving Rs 12,000-15,000 annually.

Focus on a bespoke strategy for each client to improve the conditions for building a strong bridge between the donor and the Non profit and the cause they stand for.

Committed fundraisers who are passionate about the issues they work on. Twinning experienced fundraisers with fundraising trainees from the vulnerable communities that our clients serve.

Clients contribute a monthly fixed cost (usually borne by a philanthropist deeply connected to their work) and a revenue share borne by the client NPO themselves.

To inspire people to make financial donations for critical social impact, human persuasion was at the centre the model.
